Mind Treasures began working with the Jacobs Center in South East San Diego in April 2008.
Through the generosity of many inidividuals and corporations, 12 children and Jr. Youth attended the first program at the Market Creek Plaza where they learned to develop their character traits and use them in their daily financial lives.
 
In addition to the children, parents also enjoyed reading about what their children were learning in class and how to implement the learning in their family life. Many parents indicated that they would be interested in attending adult programs offered by Mind Treasures.
In July 2008, a second session for children was organized with the help of PAZZAZ. |
