Josephine - an employee of the Washoe County School District in Reno Nevada - has a passion for character education. She is currently working with a newly formed Polynesian Club which consists of parents from the Hug High School to bring a much needed character development and financial literacy program to the students so they can be better prepared for real life.

Josephine's plans include a community education summit (June 2008) to discuss the importance of character development among community educators and leaders.

Upon completion of the initial pilot program at Hug High School, Mind Treasures programs will be considered for district wide implementation.
