Jeff has a passion for providing educational material to children all around the world. His efforts after the 2006 tsunami hit Sri Lanka is recognized by many organizations worldwide.
Ms. Sarah Aghassi
Director for the CAO’s Office of Strategy and Intergovernmental Affairs at the County of San Diego
Sarah is a licensed attorney in the State of California and earned her law degree from the University of Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento. She earned her bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of San Diego. Prior to joining the County, Sarah was the Director of Public Policy for the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce.
Mrs. Shahri Estakhry
Chair-Founder Dollar a Month Fund Children’s Charity
Shahri holds a degree in History from the University of Michigan and a Business Administration-Marketing from Campbell University in North Carolina. She also holds a Career Counseling Certificate from the University of California in San Diego. With over 55 years of experience in volunteer and administration work with non-profit and charitable organizations around the world, strongly believes that leadership through philanthropy taught and practiced with dignity, honesty and responsibility can change today’s world for the benefit of all.
Ms. Minou Sadeghi
Co-Founder, Global Business Ventures Inc.
Minou holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and French Language & Literature from Bedford College in London, England. Her past experiences include key management positions in the airline and hospitality industry and accomplishments with Fortune 500 companies. Minou also has a vast knowledge of start up businesses and has been the owner/operator of several successful entrepreneurial ventures. Her passion is to make a difference in the world through the education of children and is committed to undertake this task by ensuring that this is performed through the most ethical and highest standards available.
Ms. Shiva Nafezi
Co-Founder, Global Business Ventures Inc.
Shiva holds a Business Administration degree from Skerry’s College, Edinburgh, Scotland. Shiva’s past work experience covers a variety of management positions with the semi-conductor and other high tech industries with an emphasis on quality audits, technical publishing, and training. As a mother and grandmother of six children, she is a firm believer in the importance and urgency of cultivating a thorough financial education for children and young adults from an early impressionable age.
Mrs. Nazila Shokohi
President & Co-founder
Nazila holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from St. John Fisher College (Rochester, NY) and a master of Business Administration from University of Phoenix. Nazila’s vision was to empower millions of people who have drowned themselves in financial troubles to take charge of their lives, improve their relationships and Ride the Financial Waves. Nazila is currently serving as the lead coach and mentor.
Mr. Alex Mazloom
Executive Director & Co-founder
Alex holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from University of Nevada Reno. Alex co-founded Rapid Bridge LLC - a San Diego based semiconductor company - in 2004. His experiences in customer relations and finance along with his passion for financial management, writing and philanthropy led to the creation of Mind Treasures curriculum and material. Alex is currently the lead instructor for classes.
